The Depreciation Options wkst is showing -0- "business income" on line 3a as it's pulling from F1065 line 23 and the rental activity is recorded on F8825. No Sec 179 is allowed due to this.

Section 179 is only allowed for a "Trade or Business". ProSeries assumes a rental does not rise to that level. If the rental does rise to the level of a "Trade or Business", you enter the profit/loss on line 3b of the worksheet.
