I have a client that has a Minnesota tax return and she has a 1099r and the program keeps wanting me to fill out info on the schedule M1QPEN. Is there a way to not have to fill out that form because she should not have the qualified public pension subtraction?

It is rather annoying that ProSeries is forcing us to fill that out.

If it does not qualify, I think you should be able to just enter the name of the pension (probably twice, once on the chart thingy and once on top) and check that it is a "Basic" member.
