Has anyone completed the BOIR and did not check the box existing prior to 2024?  I failed to do so on a company and wondering if I should do a corrected report?  I'm not sure how I did this as I haven't had any llcs open in 2024.

I haven't tried making any changes so I have to ask - is that something that you can update in their system?

That box just tells when you have to have report in. 

A reporting company created or registered to do business before January 1, 2024, will have until January 1, 2025 to file its initial beneficial ownership information report.

A reporting company created or registered on or after January 1, 2024, and before January 1, 2025, will have 90 calendar days after receiving notice of the company’s creation or registration to file its initial BOI report.

Being you have already filed the report I wouldn't worry about it, but I am no expert on the subject, just my opinion

I have emailed through the BOI website to ask this question.  Just wondering if anyone here had some in site.  Thank you for your response

yes there is an option for a correction.  Before I did this I wondered if I should or shouldn't.

I am not an expert on the subject either, but I agree with Terry.  As long as it was filed timely, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
