I accidently pressed a wrong button when I put a client on extension.  The extension when through and was accepted, but the return was also processed.  Client got a check for the refund that was shown.  Because of additional information (energy credit) I needed to prepare a new return.  I don't know whether I have to file an amended or just simply file the new return since I have the extension.
