As of 2022 Military retirement is no longer taxable. However the software only gives a 3k deduction.
What is the work around for this error.

on the 1099-r under state code put in the letter M
that designates the distributions are from military retirement
FYI if you click help on the state code it will bring you to a list by all states and their codes
