When I fill out Form 8936-A with all the information. It only allows for credit in part II, for possible business use.
This credit is for an individual and there is no ability for it to populate. I can only manually override, which then prohibits my filing the return electronically.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any solution?

YOU need to input the max credit expected on Line 9, did you do that?

@Jonesin1 I think you commented on the wrong post, turning off error checking will not fix this The form works fine, this is user error.

That worked.
But it is weird solution that you have to utilize the business portion under part II line 9 to populate part III line 11.

Putting $7,500 on line 9 Form 8936-A did not work. The credit did not get to Form 3. Any ideas? Thanks.

are you sure they qualify? There is an income threshold.

Yes. They are under the $150,000 threshold. Any other ideas? The software will not let me override the math calculations.

Part III line 12 is not calculating properly.
