ProSeries won't let me efile a 2022 amended return because we did not efile the original 1040. The client did his original return elsewhere but can no longer return to that preparer. Is there a workaround or must it be mailed in?

In the amended section of the information worksheet did you check the additional box that says the original return was successfully e-filed?
