S Election Date error : you have entered a date later than the beginning date of the tax year
Attempted : various dates, none were acceptable (1/1/23, 12/31/23, 2/3/23 (correct election date), 2/4/23, etc...)

I found the fix to the S-corp date error. On the information worksheet, enter short date instead of calendar year for the 1st year.
