Why can't the ProSeries Program print the active form. Why do I have to go to the state return then come back to the federal return before I can print an active form??????

It was designed that way just to piss you off.
You could also try the Print Selected Forms icon.
ProSeries tech support called me to reply about my complaints on this one last Friday. They told me (I previously posted) it would be fixed before next tax season.
