I have a tax customer that works for the RailRoad and pays out of pocket expenses. Correct me if I am wrong, but these expenses are not deductible? She came to me saying they were and I want to make sure I am correct.

Unreimbursed employee expenses were able to be used as part of Itemized Deductions up until 2017, but TCJA took them away from 2018 forward...some states may still allow them (Like CA).
