If someone else has also her own ProSeries Software, can they open or restore your ProSeries data file without knowing your password and you did not give her an access to your ProSeries ?
I believe they can.... I "gave a large client" to another CPA and he asked me for the PS files to ensure no errors in carryovers etc. With client permission, I provided. I imagine he opened the file no problem.
