Sole owner of an LLC hasn't filed since 2016. Can he elect S Corp status (form 2553) retroactively? What's the deadline for electing S Corp status for 2018?

The deadline for 2018 was March 15, 2019.
There are provisions for making a late election, if you have a good reason.
