You carryforward a NOL, which may or may not occur if there's a Sch C loss.   It depends on the other income reported on the tax return.

I think you need a few of those extra Georgia electors to make that election work.

And to add to ABC comment, I think that nol on the return is automatically carried forward to the next year if my memory serves right.
