I am attempting to transmit an amended federal return and keep getting the error code 54 message. I've updated the software and received the message that updates are current. I have "reconverted" the return and it still will not go through. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to run REPAIR UPDATES from the Windows Programs menu for the year youre using.

This is a screen shot for 2021, but each year has the same option shown under it

If repair updates doesnt fi it, youll need to call support for more troubleshooting
