Hi,
My client has paid foreign tax on RSU income already included in his W2. How do i claim a foreign tax credit for this?

You put the dollar amount of the foreign wages/RSU income on the 1116.
Enter the foreign tax paid and fill out the rest of the 1116.
Don't count on the software to autofill it correctly.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
