Taxpayers in certain parts of CA have until Oct to make the payment.  

I have tried filing with error checking off, but the returns continue to reject due to the payment date. 

Help!!!!

Have them mail in a check later or use the online payment system on the state website

Intuit, FTB and IRS wont reprogram their systems for the extended due date.  If the client wants to pay later than the 18th of April, give them a voucher and the IRS Direct Pay/FTB Webpay website addresses and they can make it themselves.  OR you can use IRS Direct Pay/FTB Webpay and schedule the payments for them.
