placed in service in 2010
gives $5,091 in dep on sch E each year for $5,091, but Depr report shows prior 0
anyone know why?

I think its a programming glitch, Ive seen other people mention it. You may need to go into the asset entry worksheets and fix it.

2022 return transferred in from 2021 that prior depreciation disappeared? If yes, I'd look back at 2021 file to be sure the prior depreciation is there.

The same amount is in for 2021 with 0 in prior yet it is still claming the same amount for curent year

Use information from prior returns to determine prior depreciation then enter into 2022 Asset Entry Worksheet. You may want to verify the asset entry worksheet is set up correctly. Prior depreciation should transfer forward each year.
By the way - asking for help with this situation is a much better use of this forum. 🙂
