Can Proseries prepare the York Adams County local tax (Pennsylvania) return? I've been doing them by hand but I now have enough of them that I need to figure out how to handle it in the software.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bryce

Yes there is a local earned income tax return in the PA module. Just click it on and fill it out. Check with the local tax collector and make sure they accept it. But as far as I know most if not all accept it that I have done.

Question: Can the Proseries local return form be used rather than using the Keystone website?
Thanks. Also, one W-2 does not show any local withholding so can that amount be used on line 1 along with a note of explanation?

Enter local wages on the W2 local line. That will flow to line 1 on the PA local return.
The TP will then owe the tax. You will also have to enter the tax rate percentage and the local PSD number.
