I have the proseries basic 50 and works perfect for what I need. but I have some clients inquiring about 1040NR and 1065. I am considering the Intuit ProConnect, not as an upgrade, but to have it in addition to serve those few customers. My question is, is there a conflict (software wise) having the 2 softwares at the same time? (sorry may be a dumb question, but I am not IT savvy) thanks.!

No conflict.
ProSeries and ProConnect are totally different.
I think you can use ProSeries Professional on a Pay Per Return basis. That might work better for you for 1040NR and 1065.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
