Is there a way to import a pdf of a new clients prior year tax return into the program, that way I could transfer it to this year. I always here its possible but I have never done it. This would be instead of recreating it myself.

What program was used to complete the prior year return ? If it was ProSeries and there is a possibility of getting a backup of that file from last year - then you could restore and transfer to 2022.
