Getting their W-2s, 1099s, etc isn't enough of a reminder? If they ignored those forms, do you think something from you is going to help? If I sent a reminder to my clients, most of them would never bother reading it.
I would reccomend sending a letter out to those whom you prepared a tax return for the previous year and I would send it out during the first or second week of January.
