2021 is a completely separate program from 2020, so one shouldnt affect the other.....you didnt use the 2021 program to EF the 2020, did you? Each year is separate, a 2020 return would have been filed using the 2020 program.
If you used the 2021 program and EF a 2020 return, you need to amend that to the correct 2021 information.

Thanks for your response. I ended up calling support and they did help me. It seems it has nothing to do with the program but IRS already has that SS# being filed and that is why the return I am trying to filed is being rejected. We are in the process now of finding out what the IRS has .
