For under 25 foreign accounts it is duplicate work and I totally agree.  For over the FBAR does not require the detail.

Id been doing the FBAR on the official website, this year was the first time I tried to use PS for it, and yes, I was disappointed that it didnt transfer everything over...what a waste of time to have to plug everything in twice, especially with these huge crazy German street and city spellings, good lord!
