IRS Adjusted Refund Amount

Is anyone else seeing a trend of a large amount of irs refunds coming back with different amounts?(Almost always less) I am inputting the child tax credit as well as the stimulus amounts that the taxpayers provided me from their letter and they are still receiving different amounts. Anyone else seeing this on proseries?

the letters arent always right, if theyre wrong, IRS will adjust for it automatically.

If MFJ, be sure youve got BOTH letters (TP and SP) or youre only reporting half the amount.

Yes, and my clients are blaming me.

I also have had a few get extra money back from 2020 this past week.

The IRS is making us all look bad.

I've seen Three Letters for EIP#3 for MFJ. Theirs, his, hers.
