One of my client have a partner without as social security number. How do I enter it in ProSeries. I am getting an error.

When you write 'partner' are you referring to a partnership or a love interest? Is this a state with domestic partners? Is the partner needing an ITIN? You will have errors for that with the ITIN application in which you ignore them since efiling is not possible.

I am talking about the partnership I am doing for a client. The partner in the partnership do not have any social security number

Then they probably need to apply for an ITIN

If this partner is a foreign person or entity, the partnership may be required to withhold federal tax on the partner's income/distributions.
And you get to fill out the K-2 and K-3.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
