I'm filing for a deceased taxpayer. Form 1310 is complete and the personal representative's appointment certificate is attached as a PDF and linked to 1310. I'm still getting the error message that the return is not eligible for electronic filing and that form 1310 must be present. In Part I, when I check box B (court appointed personal representative) Boxes A B and C all appear in red, so I'm doing something wrong that shows up here. ???

That might not be such a bad approach. 🙂 If the IRS wants a certified whatsit, they'll send the client a letter but at least you don't have to wait for someone to key in the return.
