I am looking for someone to prepare my Aunt's 1041. I prepared her 2022 1040 (have not filed yet) but learned that her estate has an EIN # and a State of Md.ID number and a letter of confirmation to file a 1041. I am not skilled in 1041s. I live in the Upper Marlboro, Maryland area. Anyone?

You are way ahead of your time if you have already prepared her 2022 1040. As far as the 1041 goes, don't you have tax preparers in your area that you can call? Finding some stranger on the internet has always been a scary thought for me.

The home increased in value by 69K between the day she died and the day it was sold?

I'm sure that is a typo error and should be 2021.
