I have a tax return with income in two different states, when I print out or click review return, a 3rd state is listed. I don't have any income in the 3rd state, nor address, employer... anything. I removed that state and another one pops.
When in the return go to "file" - remove State/City
While the client file is open select File>Remove State/City a box will open with states for that client - select the state you want removed
