Why would you not want to report it to the partners? I believe the decision if they qualify belongs to the partner not the partnership.

The Partnership determines if it has QBI. if it does, it reports the info to the partners.

Very good point. I guess I was doing what I shouldn't assume that the decision was that the partnership qualified and they were looking to not feed it to all the partners. Thanks for clarifying that!
