So, I was trying to sneak a few returns from last year (Forms 709 to be exact, because I never try to transfer files too early, and I only do about 3 of those a year), but when I try to transfer, it defaults back to my 1040 files, not my 709 files.
anybody else experienced this?

I'm guessing some path took a wrong turn at the intersection of 1040 and 709.
