Client chose 8915E last year to spread the taxable amount over 3 years. When I transferred the client's file into 2021 software, this form was not included in the transfer. When will this form be available?

We've been told that the new and improved (4 page) Form 8915-F will be ready some time around St. Patrick's Day.
The first hurdle is that the IRS has to finalize it and release the form which is currently still in draft form. Then the programming on the IRS side needs to be updated to match the approved form. Then Intuit needs to program their softwares to match the updated IRS schema. Then there's an approval process between Intuit and the IRS. Then we can start submitting returns that include this form.

The release date of the new and improved Form 8915-F for 2021 from the IRS has no bearing on why ProSeries is not transferring in the data from last years Form 8915-E. Intuit ProSeries should at the very least transfer in last years data. When will this happen should be the question.

I agreed. Form should have been included in the transfer.

I appreciate ProSeries indicating the reason why Form 8915-F is not ready but I have to agree with
Olympus Tax, the transfer from last year to this year 2021 8915-F should be done even if the form is not
ready.

The solution is completely unacceptable. how many forms do we currently have in the software that are not final.?? many!! Realizing that we can't file a return until the final form is ready from the taxing authority again has no bearing on the fact that the software should include a draft form with the carry over information.

What solution?! Nothings got solved yet, Proseries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only it's worst that we paid top dollars for the "pro" software. Last year, TurboTax had forms released much faster then the so called "pro"series! I lost some of my clients to another office using TurboTax. My clients' friends got their taxes done already and told my clients to go to that office instead of hearing us keep telling them forms are not ready.😡

When will form 8915E be available ? Turbo tax can use it already released 02/25/2022
Drake Software already released the form.
When is ProSeries releasing the form ? Why is taking so long ?
I'm getting very impatience customers.
Thank you,
