A client's tax received a reject notice that states:
Error Resolution: The IRS rejected your return due to missing information regarding the APTC. You will need form 1095-A.
Error Detail: The e-File database indicates that Form 8962 or a binary attachment with description containing "ACA Explanation" must be presented in the return.
The client did not have a health insurance from the marketplace, and last year she received a 1095-A by mistake, her refund took the whole year to process because of this error from the marketplace.
And now, how to resolve this issue?

IRS says theres a 2021 1095A with her SSN on it out there somewhere, she needs to call the marketplace and see what theyve got for her.
Having this rejection is SO much better than waiting forever and a day to get the letter that from IRS and having to fax/mail it in!
