As of today, Jan. 24, 4:30 PM EST, I am not ready to transfer into 2021 yet. Why?

In some tests, NJ and FL driver's licenses transfer from 2020 into 2021, but NY does not. WHY?

What other states have problems?

NY is a PITA and likes to be difficult?

I heard East Dakota and South Virginia were also problems.

New York doesn't "allow" it to transfer ..... (or didn't in prior years...).

Even CA isn't that snarky.

NY has never transferred license info. Be careful using last years return because so many NY clients have been getting enhanced licenses, you need the info from the front and the back of an enhanced  license.
