Larry, I think you either mistyped or misread... the Alert said the 19th
Going to be a lot of pissed off clients if they have to wait until 2029 to e-file😁

Just saw the alert...the Jan 19th date is when ProSeries will start accepting efile submissions. They will be held until the official Jan 24th start of IRS efile.
