Cash basis S corp will file articles to disslove in Dec. A customer will not be able to pay a $10,000 fee until early Jan. Can this be included in 2018 final corp t/r?

Taxpayer would like to file a final s corp return for 2018 and not have to file a short tax year 2019 s corp return in addition to 2018 to include the payment received in early 2019. Options?
