But I have already researched the heck out of this (via Smartvault and Lacerte) and the link you provided says nothing about printing/uploading the tax return (from Lacerte- hence why I reached out to this forum) in bulk. For example- selecting 20 clients at a time- uploading their tax return into their vault in SmartVault.  I know how to individually upload- but I have hundreds of clients to upload their tax returns into their vault and am wondering if there is a less tedious, more efficient way to go about it.

I don't have SM, but I would HOPE that you could select 20 clients, use Ctrl + P and print to the SVPDF printer and it would work for you. This is likely one of the reason Lacerte dropped DMS for SmartVault, then after one season resurrected DMS.

Yes you can select multiple clients and hit control P and then print the client copy to smart vault. I do it on a daily basis during tax season. Every now and then Lacerte will lock up for some reason but for the most part it works.
