Duplex seldom gives what we hope. One page schedules will print one one side and two page schedules will use two sides, but not necessarily on the same sheet of paper. Lacerte really does not support duplex printing.

That's a function of your printer driver, not Lacerte's. So long as single-sided and duplex printing are supported by your printer driver, the option is yours.
I suppose duplex printing of the return is for your client copy and would not suggest filing a paper return in duplex as the IRS/state DOR will likely miss out on pages.

How about setting up a duplication of your default printer so that you can have different default settings for both, one for single-sided and the other one duplex? Send the print jobs that require single-sided printing to one and those for duplex to the other.
