Thank you, Kathy. Yes, we did. It is sad to say intuit tech support team doesn't seam to have a deeper knowledge about the innerworkings of the software. I spoke to few and it appeared they were trying what anyone can find on the internet even if they were aware we have tried those avenues already few times. There was no understanding of what was going on and/or an attempt to solve the problem besides the steps google returned to their search. When those methods didn't work and after hours of lost productivity, they tried to blame it on the "computer environment" and told me that I needed to hire an independent technician. After spending two days with them and pretty much told I was screwed, I started doing my own homework which took me extra few hours but I noticed I was able to modify the preparer info on the 2020 module and was able to transfer the 2020 firm/preparer info into the following years (2020-2021-2022-2023 and then to 2024). Once you manually enter your Firm/Preparer information, this can be accomplished through Settings-Update Prior Year Settings...

BTW, about a week ago I also had trouble starting Lacerte, that was the need to uninstall and reinstall. The tech team tried to fix for three straight days and finally i was told then to it was an environment problem and they gave up on me. One minute call to a friend fixed the issue - it was the "Windows Update." I just needed to uninstall the update and was fixed in less than a minute!
