Hi to all Texas Franchise Filers,

   I just had the same issue with the TX Franchise, and I found a workaround. At least it was accepted. I may get a notice later, but I have e-filed it today with the 05-169, 05-102 for all affiliates and 05-166. It was a combined return - a disregarded entity with affiliates. It would not e-file. This may go away if I tell you about it, but I am willing to risk it. Go to E-file, scroll down to E-file Support Tools, then over and down to Disable e-file error and click on it. I am not sure what may happen once it gets to the Texas Comptroller's office, but it has been accepted on 4/15/25. Now I am going home. I agree with everyone in this thread, and I hope this helps. I have used this tool before when the diagnostic seemed "stupid" and it was. I put the TX FR in the same boat right now. Good Luck.
