We installed, setup the option to access data from the server as always, works fine on the first workstation install but the second one will not let us enter into a client. Tried the Tool Hub, no luck. Several reboots, no luck. Says we are on the most current version.

What kind of server, NAS system? We use a NAS dual drive mirroring over Cat 6 Ethernet through a 1 gig/s switch as a mapped drive. Been doing that for 15 years.

We have the NAS server as well and just discovered it works if the view is e-file Clients vs All Clients. Seems like a bug in the program.

we had to reset the view when clients would only pull in if we selected efile clients. Call Lacerte support and they can walk you through this. It was pretty easy.
Also have you checked Network permissions to your Lacerte Folder for the user at the second workstation?

You need to go to:
Settings\primary options\setup
and change the data path to the server or whatever computer has the client data.
and the same for the next one down (shared k-1 data path).
Note this is done on the other computers on the network.
