I prepared a BOIR within FinCEN's portal today. It is straightforward within the official portal. I can see it becoming cumbersome to prepare once you have more than five beneficial owners. Definitely would be nice to prepare within Lacerte as all information is already there except for a photocopy of the beneficial owner's identification.
