Client's baby born in 2018 has two middle names  …. or is it two first names and one middle name.

Name (made up of course) appears like this:    Jane Rose Barbara Smith


How do I enter the First Name in LC to avoid a kick out by the IRS for a mismatched name in the SS files?

I would run with Jane Smith.

The IRS only matches against the first 4 letters of the last name and the first letter of the first name. You can use whatever input gives you the tax return presentation the client prefers, within those guidelines.
