When I see something like this, where the program is definitely running (lit bar beneath the program indicator in my Taskbar) but not visible, I assume that Windows has put it somewhere off-screen.
  Switch to some other program (like Notepad).
  Click on the Taskbar icon for Lacerte (so that you KNOW it is the active program).
  Alt+Space (to activate the program-window menu, at top left corner).
  M (to 'm'ove the window).
  Hit a couple of the arrow keys, up left left up.
  Now move the mouse around.
  Your program window should come into view on one of your screens.
