When I went to use ESignature for signing 1041, for 2 simple trust created under, by a trustee who is an individual person (not a bank, etc), Lacerte program tells you that it will allow ESignature, but cautions you about acceptability of doing so, and refers you to two IRS sources of information.  One of those two is a memorandum from year 2017, the other an IRS publication from year 2021, I believe.  Does the year 2021 publication supercede the year 2017 memorandum?
