Re: I filed a 990-EZ and 990-T and can only get Lacerte to generate an acceptance letter for the 990. I clicked on the BIT option in letters but there is noting in the body of the letter

Correct. A known issue. Lacerte/Intuit has not said anything about it AFAIK.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
