I believe a conservator simply oversees the care of an individual. Check with the court documents to see if they have authority to sign tax returns. I believe a standard 1040 is prepared and signed by the conservator. 

Hopefully someone with a more definitive belief will correct me if I am wrong.

I agree with you, George. Long ago I had a client with a conservatorship, and the conservator just signed the taxpayer's normal 1040.

Thanks for tagging me, George.  

Obviously, no one has really noticed - but I've decided (almost two weeks ago) to not really participate here any longer.  Apparently, my absence hasn't had much of an impact at all :smile:

It's been noticed that we have been missing a dog rescuer.  But when we sent out a rescue squad to look for the rescuer, the rescue team got lost and is in need of rescuing.
