Go to the Settings menu and select Options.
Click the Status tab .
Select the Status Description causing the problem then click Modify.
If not sure which one, do this for each.
Clear the field by hitting Backspace or Delete several times.
Retype the Status Description , making sure to not use any spaces at the end or any unusual characters.
Click OK then OK again to exit out of the Options screen.
Then try to change the status again.
