Probably No. IRS does not allow for anonymous. In an audit the IRS threatened to impose every penalty they could (negligence, intentional disregard, false return, incomplete return, etc.) at my client for having anonymous shown. Donor ID was coughed up.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
