When accessing remotely the program will not allow you to switch to any other clients except the first one in the list. It also shows a thinking symbol and just spins. Any ideas?

Unless you are using Lacerte's remote host (Right Networks?) you will not get any help on this because they do not support remote access.

If you're using Citrix or similar programs for RDP, all software, including Lacerte, should work as if you're at the office.
Connections on both ends and resources on the server-side (because you probably have many people logging on simultaneously to use some very resource-intensive applications like Lacerte and Excel) often are the problems. You should probably have your network administrator diagnose the underlying issue from that angle.
