June 2020 tax and compliance deadlines

This is an unusual time in which tax professionals are helping their firms and clients sort out business issues associated with COVID-19. Still, ongoing tax and compliance deadline cannot be ignored; here’s your list for June 2020.

Key Compliance Dates:

Wednesday, June 3 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on May 27-29.

Friday, June 5 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on May 30-June 2.

Wednesday, June 10:

  • Tipped employees who received $20 or more in tips during May report them to the employer on Form 4070, Employee’s Daily Record of Tips and Report to Employer).
  • Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on June 3-5.

Friday, June 12 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on June 6-9.

Monday, June 15 – Monthly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax for May.

Wednesday, June 17 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid June 10-12.

Friday, June 19 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid June 13-16.

Wednesday, June 24 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid June 17-19.

Friday, June 26 – Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid June 20-23.
